Provide detailed information, showcase case studies, and highlight the unique value you bring to the table.
💼 Purchase: Sealing the Deal.
This is where things get real—decisions are made, commitments are sealed, and virtual high-fives are exchanged. It's like shouting, "I'm all in!"
It's also an opportune moment to emphasize the importance of a seamless client onboarding experience. A great onboarding process not only ensures a smooth transition but also sets the tone for a lasting relationship.
Do this:
Clear guidance, personalized assistance, and a warm welcome can turn a mere purchase into the beginning of a valuable partnership.
🌐 Advocacy: Igniting Loyalty.
While the Purchase phase might seem like the journey's end, it's merely a checkpoint in the larger narrative.
This is when your customers go from being happy campers to full-blown cheerleaders. They're not just buying your thing; they're shouting: "Hey, this is awesome!"
Advocates don't just use your product or service; they actively promote it, sharing positive experiences with their network.
Do this:
Go the extra mile to exceed expectations, leaving a lasting positive impression. Ask for referrals and testimonials. Share testimonials. Send offers and promotions. Follow up with your clients.

Remember, each phase is an opportunity to deepen the relationship, moving from transactional engagement to partnership.

An Automation Idea:
A great onboarding process not only ensures a smooth transition but also sets the tone for a lasting relationship.
⚙ This process can be automated using Make or Zapier, Tally Forms, Google Drive, Slack, and Notion!
⚡️ Trigger.
Fill out an “Onboarding Form” with all your client’s info, such as Name, Business Info, Email, etc.
If you design a clean and easy-to-fill form you can even leave this step to your client!
↓ Shared Drive
The automation then generates a folder structure in Google Drive (or Dropbox), personalized with your Clients Info.
This way you can share important files, contracts, documents, and media.
↓ Communication Channels
Then, the automation creates a Slack Channel for direct messaging.
This is important to keep communication with your client during each phase of their journey.
↓ Client Portal
A predesigned Client Portal is created at Notion and it is personalized with your Client’s Info as well.
In this portal, you can share project timelines, deliverables, tutorials, onboarding checklists, technical support channels, a calendar with upcoming meetings, etc.
Anything you can build in Notion can be added here!
↓ Welcome Email
After giving them access to all the platforms and channels recently created (Remember we are asking for an email at the first step? This is one of the reasons!)
Then, we are using that email again to send a personalized Welcome Email, share login details, and send access links.
This is how you can fully automate your Client Onboarding Experience and one of the most important phases in the Customer Journey!
