A Framework:
Do you often feel overwhelmed, frustrated, unsatisfied, and lacking motivation?
We certainly live in one of the most abundant and prosperous times of humanity but not many understand this can be difficult.
Why? Because there are many opportunities available out there, and the fear of missing out on them can create a lot of stress and overwhelm.
With the rise of Web 3.0, AI, online communities, and digital devices, we are living in an age of not only Information Overload but also an age of Opportunities Overload.
To unlock your true potential through this world, the key is to build your inner self so you can improve your external self.
This is where a Morning Routine comes in!
I read The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod a year ago, and put its framework into practice immediately. So I can guarantee you it's a life-changer!
The book suggests six practices, known as S.A.V.E.R.S., that can help you unlock your true potential and improve any area of your life. Doing them each morning will make a huge difference.
By committing to these six practices each morning, you can start building momentum from the moment you roll out of bed to tackle everything on your to-do list.
Let's take a look at each of the 6 S.A.V.E.R.S. practices:
Silence (10 minutes)
This practice consists of just spending a few minutes each morning in silence. It can be meditation, deep breathing, or simply sitting quietly and focusing on your breath.
The purpose of this practice is to calm your mind, reduce stress, and improve your focus and concentration. Research has shown this can have many benefits, including reducing anxiety and depression, improving sleep, and enhancing cognitive function.
Affirmations (5 minutes)
Affirmations are positive statements that you can repeat to yourself to boost your self-confidence and belief in yourself. By repeating affirmations that resonate with you, you can reprogram your subconscious mind to focus on the positive and believe that you can achieve your goals.
When creating your affirmations, make sure they are in the present tense, use positive language, and are aligned with your goals.
Visualization (5 minutes)
Spend a few minutes each morning visualizing yourself achieving your goals for this specific day. This practice can help you clarify your goals, boost your motivation, and improve your performance.
Research has shown that visualization can have many benefits, including reducing anxiety and enhancing your performance for each task.
Exercise (20-30 minutes)
Exercise is essential for both your physical and mental well-being. Incorporating some form of exercise into your morning routine can boost your energy, improve your mood, and enhance your overall health.
You don't have to do an intense workout, even a few minutes of stretching, yoga, or a quick walk can help you get your blood flowing and set a positive tone for the rest of the day.
Reading (10-20 minutes)
This is an excellent way to expand your knowledge, learn new skills, and boost your creativity. Set aside some time each morning to read a book, an article, or a blog post that inspires you.
This practice can help you stay informed, improve your critical thinking skills, and enhance your imagination.
Scribing (5-10 minutes)
Writing, or journaling, is a great way to reflect on your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Spend a few minutes each morning writing down your goals, ideas, and insights.
This practice can help you clarify your thoughts, reduce stress, and improve your creativity. You can also use journaling to track your progress toward your goals and identify areas for improvement.
Total time: 50-90 minutes.
These practices can help you craft an extraordinary life, day by day, morning by morning. But, the challenge may be forming a habit of doing this each day. Correct?
So, l will share with you…
10 tips to perform the S.A.V.E.R.S. practices each morning:
Start small: Begin with just a few minutes of each practice each morning and gradually increase the time as you get more comfortable with the routine.
Set a schedule: Decide on a specific time to wake up each morning and stick to it. Consistency is key to building a habit.
Make it enjoyable: Choose activities that you enjoy for each practice, such as a favorite book for reading or a scenic route for your morning walk.
Eliminate distractions: Turn off your phone, computer, and other distractions during your morning routine to help you stay focused.
Create a dedicated space: Designate a specific area in your home for your morning routine to help you get into the right mindset.
Find an accountability partner: Share your goals with a friend or family member and ask them to hold you accountable.
Celebrate small wins: Acknowledge your progress and celebrate each small win to help you stay motivated.
Don't beat yourself up: If you miss a day or fall off track, don't beat yourself up. Simply get back on track the next day and keep moving forward.
Track your progress: Keep a journal or use a habit tracker app to track your progress and identify areas for improvement.
Make it a priority: Remember that your morning routine is an investment in yourself and your future. Make it a priority and stick with it, even on days when you don't feel like it.
